Congrats on being halfway there to hyper 20-20 vision in both eyes! I hear you about having to cope with only one good eye at the moment. Iโve had this challenge my entire life, with extremely low vision in my right eye that cannot be corrected with glasses or surgery. And a few vision impairments in my โgoodโ (left) eye.
Since you need binocular vision for good depth perception, I have wonky depth perception. And the glasses I wear make everything I see look much bigger and closer than they actually are. So I understand that feeling of oneโs eyesight not being coordinated. Luckily this has not interfered with my love of reading and writing. Moving through space is a different issue. LOL!
Looking forward to seeing what a difference cataract surgery might make when itโs my turn to have it. I hear the options in new lenses are amazing!
Enough about me! Fabulous post, so smart and thoughtful, as always!

Terrific column, Val. Smart, useful, and amusing. As always. How lucky we are.
Best mop for a pelvic floor?

Congratulations on your cataract surgery. You sound like Dorothy in Oz. Or maybe Dorothy with one eye in Kansas and one in Oz. Half way there!
i want one now!
(cataract surgery not face cleaning got that pretty much down pat ๐)
Thanks for the mirror meditation reminder!
Speaking of self-tanners is there one for the face you would recommend? Iโd never thought of using it but Iโm pale in Cape Cod. Becky
Hmmmmm Tinkle! Thank you again, Val, for HNTFUYF.
Is Emface the same tech as Nuface (a similarly meh name)?
I love gift bags!
