There are 2 amazing skin care lines what are so reasonably priced i didn’t think they would work but did!! The ordinary and the inkey list. The ordinary makes an amazing glycolic acid toner which is a necessary staple for skin tone, texture and turnover. They also make an amazing daily peel called Mandelic acid and a stronger peel which some call the “blood facial” called the aha/bha peeling solution which is only to be used once a week like a home chemical peel. The inkey list makes almost the same products, same price point and they actually have a tranexamic acid daily night treatment.
And I just bought the SkinCeuticals sunscreen. Thanks for that rec, Val. I love Elta MD but I'd like a good tinted one in my arsenal. (And the Elta MD tint does not work for me, just the clear does).
I've had IPL for dark spots--MAGIC! Totally worth every penny. Then I used Beautystat's Vitamin C serum (half the price of SkinCeuticals--works just as well) to keep the spots at bay between laser treatments. I can go 2-3 years between zaps. Pretty great!
I love this. I need to find a sunscreen the doesn’t break me out. Not sure what the offending ingredient is but it creates a rash, not zits. Thoughts? It’s funny, I didn’t realize how many questions I had until you started this!
How the Lady Lost Her Spots
Love these, Val! I love when I get email I actually stop to read! Keep it up.
What, if any, are the benefits of topical vitamin C serums?
Thank you! Loved reading this one, spoke to me in the most helpful way. Keep them coming
Interested in managing the neck area, mine makes me look much older than I am- it seems to be aging must faster than the rest of my face.

Very interesting and informative!!!
What are your thoughts on hand held micro current devices, specifically for the jowl area on the face? Am I just wasting my money?
